July 11 -- Michael Jackson and Marlon Brando both have a reputation for quirky behavior, and now we'll get to see what happens when they get together.

Brando, who rarely makes public appearances, has agreed to participate in one of Jackson's two tribute concerts September in New York.

Brando will be in solid company at the Madison Square Garden soiree. While Jackson may no longer rule the charts, he has a successful group of admirers.

'N Sync, Marc Anthony, Elizabeth Taylor, Ray Charles and Britney Spears are among those on the attendance list.

Spears could be upstaged for her skimpy fashions if Brando is up to his old tricks. The quirky actor, who is next appearing in The Score, has reportedly made a habit of showing up on set with no pants.

Bowie DJs for Kids

Elmo is getting some competition from David Bowie.

The fashionable singer is getting into children's entertainment and will host an Internet radio station for the recently potty-trained. The show is billed as Kick Out the Jammies (KOTJ).

Bowie says his young daughter Alexandria helped him come up with the idea. "[While] putting together tapes to play while Alex took a bath or had breakfast it occurred to me that it would be a nice thing to put together a station's worth of stuff for kids," said Bowie.

He will pick the songs for the station, which will run on his online community BowieNet. He already serves as DJ on a station on the Web site.

Madonna Restricts Star Treatment

It's tough to score a ticket to Madonna's sold-out tour. Even the stars aren't getting the usual star treatment.

Elton John and George Michael are among the singer's famous friends who were asked to pay for their entry to her U.K. concerts according to The Sun.

"She feels everyone should be treated the same, and if they want to come they have to pay," a source told the paper.

Mick Jagger, Angelina Jolie and Naomi Campbell are among the celebrities who reportedly caught her six-night run at London's Earls Court Arena.
