Lopez Drops Sex Tape Suit

Psst! Want to get your hands on a tape of Jennifer Lopez having sex with an ex-boyfriend? Well, you're out of luck, pal. Such a thing may never even have existed, except in the minds of tabloid reporters.

After it was reported Wednesday in The Star that imprisoned Death Row Records exec Marion "Suge" Knight was planning to sell a tape over the Internet of the 30-year-old diva doing the deed with a former boyfriend, Lopez went to court to block distribution of the tape. On Friday, the rap mogul's lawyers claimed that Knight didn't even possess such a tape and Lopez promptly dropped her suit.

The beau featured in the possibly fictitious footage has not been identified, but he is not Lopez's current flame, dancer Cris Judd, or her more famous ex, rapper Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, who's long been a rival of Knight's.

However, Knight still reportedly plans to release an unauthorized film titled J.Lo Uncut: Tha Real Story. Lopez's publicist, Alan Nierob, told both The Star and the New York Post that he doubts that the Lopez sex tape ever existed.

Lopez's story appears to have ended on a happier note than have those of other celebs who've found their most private moments become public fodder. Most famously, Pamela Anderson failed to block distribution of a sex video made by her and then-husband Tommy Lee.

Lopez, who officially split from Combs on Valentine's Day of this year, was previously married to Ojani Noa. The actress, who also has a thriving singing career, unveils her latest film, Angel Eyes, this Friday.
