April 23 -- NBC's Law & Order is replacing Angie Harmon with Elisabeth Rohm.

Harmon, who is also the spokesmodel for Neutrogena, recently announced she was leaving the show, reportedly to pursue a film career.

Her character, assistant DA Abbie Carmichael, will be replaced by a character the network describes as a "forceful young prosecutor with a Harvard Law Review background and the goal of one day moving beyond the district attorney's office."

Rohm has appeared on TNT's Bull and ABC's One Life to Live.

Xtreme End

Will the first XFL championship be the last, too?

The Los Angeles Xtreme won the troubled league's championship Saturday night with a 38-6 pounding of the San Francisco Demons. The broadcast had a lifeless 2.5 overnight TV rating, which means an average of only 2.5 percent of the TVs in the country's 49 largest markets were tuned in for any part of the so-called Million Dollar Game.

NBC is expected to decide by the end of the month if it will stay in partnership with the World Wrestling Federation to fund the XFL.

Kids' Choice Awards

If ever you could call Tom Cruise a total slime, it was Saturday at Nickelodeon's 14th annual Kids' Choice Awards:

Cruise, a surprise guest at the event, got slimed with the cable network's signature green goo. Cruise also receved the first-ever Wannabe Award, which is presented to a celebrity role model kids most "want to be."

The Kids' Choice awards typically allow stars to let their hair down. Cameron Diaz won first prize at a celebrity burp-off.
