Joel Siegel's Oscar Picks

Jan. 24, 2005 — -- There will be no need to explain the tired eyes in Hollywood on Tuesday. Even the biggest stars are getting up early to hear the Oscar nominations announced.

Best actor Oscar winner Adrien Brody and Frank Pierson, president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, will read the nominations in 10 of the 24 categories at 8:30 a.m. ET (that's 5:30 a.m. on Hollywood Boulevard). All the excitement will be broadcast live on "Good Morning America" as well as ABC News Live.

Who will get the nod? "Good Morning America's" Joel Siegel unflinchingly gives us his annual picks, with six nominees in each of the most-watched categories.
