Broadway Cast of ‘The Lion King’ Takes New York Subway Riders By Storm

These New York City A-train subway riders certainly could in this entertaining video going wildly viral.

Watch as the Broadway cast of “The Lion King” took an unsuspecting group of New York subway riders by storm with an impromptu performance of “The Circle of Life.”

About 30 cast members decided to pull off the stunt during a break between shows, and judging by the reactions of their surprised fellow straphangers, the a cappella performance was a roaring success.

The video has more than 191,000 views since being posted to YouTube on Aug. 5.

The show is produced by Disney Theatrical, a division of The Walt Disney Co., which also owns ABC News and this website.
