Should you become a finalist for the position (there will be approximately 10 finalists, though ABC reserves the right to increase or decrease that total), your application for the "GMA Advice Guru" position and your participation in this process will be made public on Good Morning America and on the ABCNews.com website in early November. Prior to and/or after becoming a finalist, you will be required to submit an employment application, go through a formal interview process, and be subject to a satisfactory check of references and completion and review of any other hiring prerequisites, including but not limited to a criminal background check. You also may be required to appear online and on-air in the capacity as a GMA Advice Guru "finalist," asked to answer questions on-camera to be posted online or on the ABC Television Network, and/or participate in other on-air or online activities as part of this process. Additional processes also may be added at ABC's sole discretion. Failure to comply with any required step at any stage in the process may result in the rejection of your application, at ABC's sole discretion.
