Dec. 2 -- Ever since singer Jennifer Lopez revealed that the rock she's "got" is from Hollywood hunk Ben Affleck, fashion enthusiasts have been wondering what the bride-to-be will wear for the big day.

At Bergdorf Goodman's in New York City, they say lace is lovely for brides. But designers all over the world are expecting Lopez to buck tradition and show off her curvy figure.

Designer Elizabeth Emmanuel weighed in on what Lopez might wear. "She has a great figure her bust line, shoulders, and her bottom, so, something that emphasizes her waist, shows the cleavage," Emmanuel said.

No Puffy Sleeves

Emmanuel knows about celebrity wedding dresses. Her design was the one that Princess Diana wore when she walked down the aisle. But Lopez has a different look entirely, and there should be no puffy sleeves on her dress, she says.

"I think she should go quite couture because it would be a contrast to the street, funky, hip image that she has, you know, with the baggy pants and the crop tops," Emmanuel said.

This wedding will be the third time around for the hip-hop princess. Lopez's first marriage, to model Ojani Noa in 1997, lasted a year. She split from her second husband, dancer Cris Judd, this past June. Their divorce will be finalized in January. She and Affleck have not yet announced a wedding date.

This time around, things are different, Lopez said in a recent interview with ABCNEWS' Primetime. Her feelings for Affleck are "bigger and realer" and "totally different" from anything she has felt before, she said.

That "totally different" feeling may be reflected in her gown, experts say. San Francisco-based design duo Ristarose, who made actress Halle Berry's wedding gown for her secret wedding ceremony to torch singer Eric Benet, agreed with Emmanuel that Lopez should wear something trendy. They say celebrities can toss tradition out the window.

"If it's going to be a big formal affair in a church, I would imagine that she would probably wear something more traditional, but I think she should definitely wear something that shows off her figure," said Ivana Ristic, of the Ristarose design duo.
