Moving on now to the apparent assault caught on tape. An Arizona police officer knocking down an unsuspecting female student during a riot, sending her flying over a metal bench. John muller has the story. Reporter: It's the disturbing moment sending shock waves through a college campus. Watch again as this police officer rams into a young woman and appears to hit her in the face. Out of nowhere, we see this cop come up and just level her. She wasn't looking. She wasn't antagonizing anybody. Reporter: The shocking moment unfolding during a riot on and near the university of Arizona campus Saturday night following the school's loss to the university of Wisconsin. Eliminating them from the ncaa March madness basketball tournament. In other video from that night, you can see lis trying to contain unruly students using foam batons and powder pelts. Ultimately arresting 15 people. But phoebe, whose friend shot this video, witnessed this firsthand and that the girl in the video didn't appear to be doing anything wrong. It was not out of context. You saw the video. They were not telling us anything. And this girl just got knocked over out of the blue. She was just trying to get to her car. Reporter: Overnight, the police department telling ABC news that internal affairs is investigating the video. They've been in contact with the girl. She's not been charged with any wrong doing. In all, 15 Arizona fans arrested. Some allegedly throwing beer bottles and firecrackers at police.
