the atlanta airport. One of america's busiest. Around 5:00 a.M., An area on the concourse filled with smoke. Two firefighters were injured. A number of passengers were impacted, unable to get to their planes. We're learning new details. And abc's steve osunsami joins us on the phone. Reporter: What a headache for passengers at the airport. The fire started at the bottom of an escalator at the concourse "t" level. There was smoke reported. Passengers who were nearby had to be diverted. We're told that firefighters rushed to the scene. Two firefighters were injured when they slipped in water. But they declined treatment when they were sent to area hospitals. I'm told this morning that the planes are running as scheduled. And the trains running to those planes are also running. However, they are skipping concourse "t." They're avoiding that concourse. A lot of the passengers that are trying to get through the world's busiest airport, are having to walk to their terminal.
