In the car seat for the first time but a bittersweet journey home for one baby boy in California. Little west -- land east leaving his mother behind for now as she remains in a coma. West was born back in March as his mother Melissa Carlton was in a coma. After a seizure caused by a brain tumor she is now recovering from surgery and able to make small gestures to responder husband. Doctors hope that the new mother will come out of her comatose state during rehabilitation.
