Reporter: The allegations against robert pearman are not quite as insane but pretty close. The whole night. Things got out of control and -- Reporter: He is a 45-year-old lawyer from california who is now facing felony charges for his alleged malicious destruction of a luxury suite at the encore hotel in vegas. Going by pearman's facebook page this is a guy who likes to party. In march he booked this two-story 5800-square foot $3,000 a night suite. Gorgeous pool table. Reporter: That's where prince harry dropped trou in 2012. Officers arrived to find a war Total disarray. Glass debris was strewn about the room, furniture was overturned and numerous food items were spattered on the carpeting, walls, floors and drapery. The total damage estimated to be roughly $100,000. The luxury decor casualties included lamps, a decorative vase and somewhat inexplicably a book about michelangelo. He was intoxicated and had with him an entourage of five women. At first pearman channeled charlton heston's moses saying i did all of this. Let my people go. He got his wish. Police let his entourage go and they say pearman was given a chance to avoid jail himself if he would just pay up for the damages. Pearman refused and now he is learning the hard way that there are exceptions to that golden rule. Remember what happens in vegas stays in vegas. In court papers though he has walked back from his earlier claim of responsibility now saying that a third party caused the damage.
