We're going to begin with the breaking news. Iran breaking overnight, it captured a u.S. Spy drone over the persian gulf. U.S. Officials are denying it. Martha raddatz tracking all of the developments as they come in, by the hour. Good morning, martha. Reporter: Good morning, josh. This is a stark reminder this morning of the volatile relationship with we have with iran. Iran is broadcasting images of what looks like a scan eagle drone. These are, indeed, the kind of drones that the u.S. Navy frequently uses in the persian gulf. Abc news saw them launched off a ship recently in the gulf. They're small, about ten feet wide and unarmed. But the navy says adamantly they are not missing any u.S. Drones currently operating in the gulf. Although, they have lost them in the water in the past. The iranians could have found one of those or could have found one from another country. Important to note, that even if the iranians have one, the scan eagle is nothing like the cia stealth drone that crashed in iran last year around this time. That, josh, was a huge loss of secret technology. But the tensions do remain with iran. Martha raddatz, there in washington. Thank you for that.
