And then there's this guy named barack obama. I could take up a whole afternoon talking about his failures. But -- he lost his first race for congress and now, he gets to call himself my husband. A big article this morning saying that this small office in cincinnati that inappropriately targeted the tea party groups was understaffed and confused. Is this likely to be seen as u useful new information? It depends on who's reading the story. It's not going to stop the investigations. Another hearing in this senate finance committee this week. The big question is, did anyone in the white house know about this targeting as it was happening? The white house said it didn't know about it until this spring. Was there any direction to the irs from the white house? If the answer is no, this isn't going to go very far. Some irs officials have lost their jobs. Unless you can draw this tightly to the white house, this may lead to some changes in the irs and this program. But I don't think the idea of a scandal will continue. The administration is saying that the white house didn't know until the spring. Reports they knew about this last year, before the election, if the former treasury secretary tim geithner knew about it. That's the question. The white house has said that information was not passed on, we should also say, though, that the inspector general also told congress about this back in july A letter was sent in july saying that this investigation was going on. Some in congress were aware or should have been aware that this was going on as well. Lot of unanswered questions. George great to see you. Coming up later this morning on "this week," george stephanopoulos will be putting white house senior advicer dan pfeiffer on the hot seat. The weather from ginger zee.
