Officials in that country are asking the world to pray for the 94-year-old mandela and abc's bazi kanani is in pretoria right now d what can you tell us about his condition? Reporter: Good morning, josh. Government officials tell us nelson mandela is responding well to treatment at a hospital for a lung condition that keeps coming back. Mandela was last seen cradling his great grandson in a picture his family released last month. He is now 94 years old and concern is growing about his health. In just the last four months he has been hospitalized three times now. South africa's president is asking for prayers for the revered anti-apartheid hero but acknowledges that frailty comes with age saying that in is zulu when an old person passes away he is said to have gone home and he said "those are some of the things we should be thinking about."
