It's going to ask you on the home screen to choose your state. Then, it says to apply now. Once you apply, you go through four additional steps. You create the account. You pick a plan. And then, you enroll. And for people who are wondering, does this apply to me? Well, for the most part, most americans aren't going to even need to do this. If you're already covered by your employer or under medicare, you don't have to use this website. Instead, this is for the 48 million uninsured americans. People who have been denied coverage previously for pre-existing conditions. Or who have struggled to find coverage in the past. This is the website for you to check out today. The white house tells us, it will be fully live, fully operational, at 8:00 a.M. This morning, we've been able to get through some of it. For the majority of people don't have to do anything. What are the penalties if you do not sign up? Everybody, at the end of this YEAR, BY JANUARY 1st, 2014, Needs to be covered under health insurance.
