Transcript for Parents Object to Tennessee School's Mosque Visit
No more field trips to any religious venues for one Tennessee school district apparent backlash over a recent trip to an Islamic mosque and a Hindu temple. Didn't go over well the students from Henderson high near Nashville were studying world religions. And since the field trips didn't include churches or synagogues some saw as pro Islam some students though say parents. Need to chill out of bed. Back classes designed to really extend kids outreach and what they know. So as a parent I wouldn't be -- upset if my kid you know learn more about -- would not be upset if given the same thing over and over and over and. -- the world studies class can no longer take field trips to religious venues.
