The secretive move to seize months of phone records from associated press journalists. Abc's david kerley joins us from washington with the latest in all this. Good morning, david. Reporter: Associated press is livid in that other news organizations very concerned about this government action. Ap says that the justice department just told the news organization that earl year the records for 20 separate phone lines for the company and some of its reporters' personal outgoing calls were obtained by the government calling it massive and unprecedented. It covered a two-month period early last year. Why would the government want those? The ap believes it's part of a leak investigation about this time last year may 7th ap published an article about how a second underwear bomb plot was thwarted in yemen. The president and white house say they want to go after leakers but not this. The attorney general will answer questions later today.
