Answer: Patients when they present with depressive depression or clinical depression or major depressive disorder -- as it's said -- often have depressed mood or sad mood and anhedonia -- or loss of interest -- and then a number of other symptoms that include changes in appetite, changes in sleep, lack of concentration, hopelessness, helplessness, worthlessness, and unfortunately also associated with suicidal ideation.
