Here at the Breast Center at the University of Colorado Hospital we are engaged in building what is called a tissue bank.

This tissue bank allows us to collect tissue from women with breast cancer or early-stage breast legions that would normally be not used for their clinical care and by saving that tissue, when then have it available for research studies that can test how breast cancer grows and develops and how it can best be treated.

This tissue bank is a great asset in our ability to fight and cure breast cancer.
