Answer: Paget's disease of the breast is a condition that usually develops on the nipple or the areola -- the tissue around the nipple -- in which there is precancerous cells discovered. This usually indicates that there is a cancerous involvement in the breast. If this should occur, this should be brought to the attention of your physician for an evaluation of possible breast cancer.
