Answer: Certainly, if you are happy in your relationship it is worth a try to see if a long-distance relationship can work. The question for you to be asking is: How long is this long-distance going to last; is there hope for reconnecting at some point and that the long distance is really temporary? Or are you asking yourself whether this can be a permanent kind of relationship, for which it's not so easy to maintain that -- lifelong.
But if you're really saying, is my relationship at a place that it is of the quality and intensity that I want to put some effort into long-distance, I would say, get your frequent flyer miles ready.
