— -- Some kids go to football games and dream of being a star quarterback.

But not little Maximus. This 3-year-old is way more interested in being a star halftime performer.

After the spirited little fella went to his first few games at South View High School in Hope Mills, North Carolina, he became mesmerized by the color guard’s routine and put on a show of his own, right on the sidelines.

“Every week, we have had the honor of watching the South View band and color guard practice,” the description on one of his YouTube videos explains. “Maximus has fallen in love with the color guard. When we aren't at practice, he is at home practicing with his flags. He has self-taught himself their routine and even wanted to be ‘Color Guard Max Max’ for Halloween.”
