— -- All week long, "Good Morning America" is going across the country to make your day better with small surprises that have a big impact. Cameron Mathison shocked drivers in Pennsylvania Monday by paying their tolls during their normally mundane commute on the turnpike.

Today, Tim Tebow put big smiles on folks’ faces in Florida, all the way from his hometown of Jacksonville to outside the Jacksonville area in St. Augustine.

“This has been an awesome week so far but we’re ready for the big surprise,” Tebow said as he secretly hid outside the gym door of Timberlin Elementary School while the hardworking and unsuspecting students and teachers anxiously waited inside.

As Tebow finally opens the door revealing himself, he yelled, “What’s up?” to the students and faculty, which was met with an equally excited cheers, high-fives, clapping and screaming.

“Are you excited? I can’t hear you!” he said, pumping up the crowd.

“It is such an honor for me to be here for you today,” Tebow added, as he attempted to calm the ecstatic children down. “And on behalf of ‘GMA,’ we have some awesome upgrades for you this morning.”

The first was a complimentary breakfast from Edgewood Bakery for all the students to enjoy.

“And guess what? Your teachers might even let you eat some dessert,” he quipped.

But the teachers also got a very special upgrade just for themselves.

“We have some massages from Massage Envy, but you’re also getting gift certificates from Massage Envy any time you like,” Tebow said.

The surprises for the students weren’t over just yet, however.

“All of you also get Sports Authority $25 gift certificates that you can use for whatever you want,” he explained.

After thanking Timberlin’s principal for everything she does for “the next generation of Americans,” he gave her the opportunity to tell the kids their final, and probably most exciting, upgrade for the day.

“No homework,” she yelled, much to the thrill of all her grateful, enthusiastic students who could barely contain their excitement.

But his school surprise was just the cherry on top of Tebow’s long week of “GMA” Upgrades, all delivered to much-deserving heroes and residents of his hometown in Jacksonville, Florida.

The former NFL star also dropped by Fire Station 31 in Jacksonville to give those firefighters an upgrade they’ll never forget.

“Y’all serve the people of Jacksonville every single day, but you’re also people who don’t get ‘thank you’s’ a lot, so we wanted to come and say, ‘thank you’ and upgrade your morning,” Tebow explained. “We actually have Whitney Miller, she’s a celebrity chef, she won ‘MasterChef,’ and she’s cooking for you right now.”

The firefighters enjoyed a hearty, southern meal of fried chicken, biscuits, sweet corn grits and barbecue shrimp.

“Another part of the upgrade,” he added, “is a 65-inch Samsung TV. My man, Kevin, from Samsung was nice enough to bring it over, so can we give Kevin a hand?”

Just as the firefighters started to relax and enjoy their new upgraded luxuries though, they got called into action, springing to their feet to go save someone.

“It’s amazing,” Tebow said. “Even when we’re trying to hang out [and] give them a good time, they have to go and rescue and serve.”

But Tebow still had one last stop to make. He made his way over to the home of Kimberly Brown, a single, unemployed mom with three kids.

“This is a woman that’s an inspiration,” he said. “Let’s go upgrade her morning.”

As an unsuspecting Brown opens her front door, she screams, “Oh, God bless you!”

“I’ve just heard so many amazing things about you,” Tebow replied. “What a great mom and what an inspiration you’ve been. We just wanted to come by and say ‘thank you’ for everything.”

Tebow had a bunch of groceries to deliver along with a Publix gift certificate, and because “we know your kids like playing at Dave and Busters,” he explained, they get “a gift certificate there and a bunch of toys from Dave and Buster’s.”

The Brown family also loves going to the movies so they received some gift certificates for that, as well.

“You make me feel so good, so special,” Brown said. “This is truly a blessing.”
