In Long Beach, Calif., on Tuesday, Maria Shriver moderates a 4:15 pm ET panel discussion with five potential first ladies: Jeri Thompson, Ann Romney, Cindy McCain, Michelle Obama, and Elizabeth Edwards.

Also appearing at the women's conference will be Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who is receiving an award, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Back in Florida, Fred "I'm Going to Do It the Way I Want to Do It" Thompson plans to keep hammering away on illegal immigration during a 10:35 am ET border security roundtable in Naples. He also holds a 2:15 pm ET press availability in Miami. LINK

When asked Monday about the Terri Schiavo controversy, Fred Thompson spoke candidly about the death of his own daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Thompson Panici, and said that neither federal nor local governments should play any role in making a family's end-of-life decisions, reports ABC's Jake Tapper.
