Why You May Need to Learn Korean to Find Out If Joe Biden Is Running for President
Why you may need to learn Korean to find out his answer.
— -- As time ticks down for Vice President Joe Biden to make up his mind on a possible presidential run in 2016, he took some time to laugh off reporters shouting questions at him today.
"Are you running for President?" a reporter yelled at Biden walking out of his residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C.
"I'll answer in Korean," Biden responded, smiling as he prepared to greet South Korean President Park Geun-hye.
The reporter then continued to pry, asking if Biden had made his decision yet.
Biden replied, "I can't hear you," then threw up his hands as the reporter continued asking him if there was still an opening in the Democratic field for him.
"I'll tell you what, good to see you all," Biden said. "And I'll talk to you all about that later."
Speculation continues to grow over which way Biden is leaning with respect to jumping into the presidential race. ABC News' Jonathan Karl reported today that through interviews with several senior staffers at the White House, not one has expressed confidence Biden will run.
