Trump Says He Stands With Israel, Daughter Having 'Beautiful Jewish Baby'
Trump made the remarks to AIPAC.
— -- GOP Front Runner Donald Trump told the annual AIPAC convention that he will stand with Israel if elected President and even told them that his daughter is "about to have a beautiful Jewish baby."
His speech, marked the first time in his race for the White House that the New York billionaire read from a prepared speech and used a teleprompter. Over the course of his campaign, Trump has repeatedly vowed not to use a teleprompter, saying last August that the technology should be outlawed “for anybody running for President.”
Trump promised the crowd “when I become President, the days of treating Israel like a second-class citizen will end on Day One.”
Previously, the real estate mogul has said he was a "sort of a neutral guy" on Israel.
“I love Israel…I’ve been with Israel so long," he said. "My daughter Ivanka is about to have a beautiful Jewish baby!” Trump’s daughter is expecting her third child any day now.
Trump hit President Obama several times, than finally hit former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"You see, what President Obama gets wrong about deal-making is that he constantly applies pressure to our friends and rewards our enemies," he said. "That pattern, practiced by the President and his administration, including former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has repeated itself over and over and has done nothing but embolden those who hate America.”
He received a large applause when he talked about moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
"We will send a clear signal that there is no daylight between America and our most reliable ally, the state of Israel,” he said.
