Oct. 6, 2013— -- quicklist: 1title: Miley Can't Stop the Shutdowntext: Tongues were wagging in anticipation of Miley Cyrus' hosting duties on Saturday Night Live last night.

Would there be twerking? Was Hannah Montana going to make an appearance? Would she, in typical Miley fashion, stick out her tongue to reveal a piercing? It was anyone's guess.

It's safe to say she killed it alongside SNL's Taran Killam in the digital short, "We Did Stop (The Government)."

Rewriting the words to her inescapable hit, Cyrus and Killam paired up as sexed up versions of Michele Bachmann and John Boehner to take on the government shutdown.

Complete with pimped out elephants, an American flag piñata and grillz, the Social Climber hopes no one in D.C. is having this much fun.

title: Kathy Griffin's Domestic Bliss text: Perched atop her plum couch in a gold ball gown, flanked by windows overlooking the scenic Hollywood Hills, Kathy Griffin opened up her newly decorated home to People Magazine to reveal her sweet digs.

But the Emmy-winning comedian, 52, revealed she has no clue how to decorate, likening it to making a pizza.

"I have an eye for when it's done well, but I can't do it myself," she told the magazine. "It's like nobody loves a great pizza more than I do, but I couldn't make one if my life depended on it."

quicklist: 3title: Glastonbury 2015 or Bust?text: If you were hoping to score tickets to Glastonbury 2014 – without knowing any of the bands in attendance, that is – better luck in 2015.

The tickets were sold out in a record-breaking one hour and 27 minutes after being released at 9 a.m. this morning, according to the festival's website.

"We have, once again, been blown away by the numbers of people who were hoping to join us at the Festival, and we're sorry that many of you have missed out on a ticket," the festival's organizers, Michael & Emily Eavis wrote to music fans. "We genuinely try to make the ticket system as fair as it can be, but when demand outstrips supply, it is an unfortunate inevitability that some people will be left disappointed."

Ticketholders don't even know who they're going to see take the stage. The headliners haven't even been booked, Emily Eavis told NME.

"We're definitely getting close to securing two and there are a few options for the third," she said.

quicklist: 4title: Madonna Gets Candid in Harper's Bazaar text: Madonna is known for being many things, but vulnerable never seems to top the list.

But the singer who needs no last name got serious in an essay in November's Harper's Bazaar, revealing that when she first moved to New York at age 20, she was raped at knifepoint.

"New York wasn't everything I thought it would be," she wrote. "It did not welcome me with open arms. The first year, I was held up at gunpoint. Raped on the roof of a building I was dragged up to with a knife in my back, and had my apartment broken into three times. I don't know why; I had nothing of value after they took my radio the first time."

But Madge soldiered on, revealing she was "hell-bent on surviving."

"It was hard and it was lonely, and I had to dare myself every day to keep going," she said.
