Instagram Suffers Brief Outage

After a brief outage this afternoon, Instagram appears to be back and fully operational.

The photo sharing website, which is owned by Facebook, said earlier today it was "experiencing some technical issues," according to a statement on Twitter.

Users who opened the app were unable to post photos or refresh it, while visiting Instagram.com brought up a "500 Internal Server Error."
