The card key system at the New York hotel where IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn allegedly assaulted a maid could discredit the defense suggestion that the sex was consensual. It is standard procedure for hotel maids to keep the door open while cleaning a room, partly to head off the risk of sexual assault. The hotel's card key system may show the suite's door was propped open.

Netflix Drives Internet Traffic

Netflix now takes up more internet bandwidth in the evening than browsing the Web. A new study finds that the service's movies and TV shows account for almost 30 percent of the traffic. Surfing the Web is just over half that. Just last year, surfing and file sharing each had bigger shares.
