Coming Up: Kaine and Steele
Plus Our Classic Roundtable: George, Sam, Cokie and Donna
May 20, 2010— -- Voters sent a strong message to both parties in big primaries on Tuesday night. Sunday on "This Week," anchor Jake Tapper is joined by the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Tim Kaine, and the Chairman of the Republican National Committee, Michael Steele, to debate the meaning of the results and what message it sends for the midterms.
Both men are critical in leading their party's strategies this election year. We'll ask them how Democrats and Republicans will adjust to the voters' anti-establishment message? How will Republicans harness the energy of the tea party movement? And do Tuesday's results give Democrats some hope of minimizing losses in November? Kaine and Steele, a "This Week" Debate on the politics of 2010.
Then, our classic roundtable. Sam Donaldson, Cokie Roberts and Donna Brazile are back together again with George Will to talk about all the week's politics – the primaries, scandals for candidates from both parties, the immigration debate and this week's state visit of Mexican President Felipe Calderon. All that and more Sunday on "This Week." Check here for the airtime where you live.
See you Sunday.
