LONDON, Jan. 18, 2011— -- Among the best-kept secrets of bride-to-be Kate Middleton and Prince William are the following: the wedding dress, the guest list and, ahem, the stag-party destination.

Only a select few know which designer Kate Middleton has chosen to make her wedding dress.

Word has it that Middleton's so determined to keep the dress a secret -- not only from the public but from William -- that she has had secret fittings at Buckingham Palace.

As for the guest list, royal watchers are on tenterhooks awaiting its release.

The stag party, however, is largely thought to be headed to Cape Town, South Africa.

William has ties to the country. And he and Prince Harry took in the World Cup soccer matches in June.

The brothers also did a charity motorcycle ride across South Africa in 2008. And they have both spoken of their love for a the continent that allows them to be "anonymous."

Some say Wales and Scotland are also likely options for a bachelor party, but if the royal groom wants some pre-wedding sunshine, he'd better hope that his brother, Harry, and best friend Guy Pelly choose Cape Town.

Here are some places to stay and things to see for the royal bachelor party.

The well-heeled group will need a stylish base in South Africa's capital. Bali House in the Camps Bay suburb has a pool, Jacuzzi and a fulltime cook and butler to keep the royal party happy.
