McCurry, who shoots often for National Geographic, is perhaps most known for his photo of a young Afghan girl with piercing eyes that was featured on the cover of National Geographic Magazine in 1985. More recently, McCurry participated in a documentary featuring him shooting the last roll of the now-discontinued Kodachrome film, which McCurry has used for years.
