Monument marks 120 years with glass walkway 138 feet high.

LONDON— -- London's famous Tower Bridge is unveiling a new feature to celebrate its 120th birthday: a glass walkway, 138 feet above ground, with a sprawling view on the river Thames.

The million-dollar project is now opened to the public, and another walkway will open on the east side of the bridge next month.

Tower Bridge joins the Eiffel Tower and Grand Canyon on the list of famous monuments with glass walkways, likely adding to the existing 600,000 visitors a year.
