Amtrak Train Collides With Truck in Illinois

No injuries were reported on board the train.

— -- An Amtrak train collided with a truck this afternoon near Wilmington, Illinois, about 60 miles south of Chicago.

There were no injuries among the 203 passengers, or any crew members, on board the train, Amtrak told ABC News.

The condition of the truck's occupants was unknown.

Amtrak train No. 22 was en route from San Antonio to Chicago at the time of the crash. The train stopped for police to investigate but is expected to continue to Chicago later today, according to Amtrak.
