— -- Georgia police are searching for a suspect who fired shots near a school bus full of children last week.
On the afternoon of Nov. 9, two students were about to exit a school bus in a Marietta neighborhood when the driver saw a man firing a gun toward a home directly in front of the bus, according to the Marietta Police Department. The driver immediately grabbed the children who were trying to get off the bus and secured the doors.
Officers were dispatched to the scene after the bus driver called 911, but the man fled in a blue and white SUV, police said.
Video from traffic cameras show the suspect running through the neighborhood while brandishing a gun.
After reviewing the video, investigators determined that the suspect fired 10 to 12 shots toward the home. No one was injured in the incident, police said.
