Multiple People Stabbed at Pittsburgh Mental Health Facility

— -- Multiple people have been stabbed inside a mental health facility in Pittsburgh, according to ABC News affiliate WTAE.

The suspect was a patient and had barricaded himself inside Turtle Creek Valley Mental Health while armed with a gun and knife, WTAE reported. He has been apprehended by police.

The executive director of Turtle Creek Valley Mental Health, Fran Sheedy Bost, told the affiliate that she had been contacted by people inside the building who said the suspect stabbed people and fired his gun.

It is unclear how many people were injured. The incident prompted a large police presence, and some relatives of witnesses told reporters that the suspect had pointed a gun at them.
