— -- Celebrities like Serena Williams, Beyoncé, Jesse Williams, Zendaya, Amy Schumer, John Legend and more have taken to social media to respond to two incidents of police officers fatally shooting Black men in the past 24 hours.

Though thousands of miles and several states apart, both the shooting deaths of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling were caught in part on video and spread quickly through social media, where several celebrities later used their names as hashtags to express sympathy and anger.
