  • Snowstorm Hits the Northeast

This storm was the second major one in a week to slam the nation. The Mid-Atlantic states were completely white with snow on Sunday as seen by NASA's Aqua satellite. The storm deposited between 12 and 30 inches of snow in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. last weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
