— -- 1. O'Malley on Biden Run: Would be Nice to Have Another 'Lifelong' Democrat

Responding to reports that Vice President Joe Biden is seriously considering entering the 2016 presidential race and met privately with liberal star Sen. Elizabeth Warren this weekend, Democratic presidential hopeful Martin O’Malley told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos Sunday that it would “be nice to have at least one more lifelong Democrat in the race.”

Stephanopoulos asked O’Malley if that was a shot at Bernie Sanders, a self-described Democratic Socialist, who is the longest-serving independent member of Congress, but is seeking the Democratic nomination for president.

“No, it is a compliment to Vice President Biden for also being a lifelong Democrat," O'Malley said, adding that he has "a great deal of respect" for Biden and thinks he is a “very, very good and decent man."

2. Scott Walker Says He's Not Seeking to Repeal 14th Amendment

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said he has no plans to alter the 14th Amendment, which grants citizenship to anyone born in the United States.

In an interview earlier this week, Walker seemed to indicate his support for getting rid of the constitutional right of birthright citizenship, but then he stepped back from that position later in the week, leaving unclear his position on the issue. He answered "no" when asked by ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on “This Week” if he plans to try and repeal or alter the 14th Amendment.

"My point is any discussion that goes beyond securing the border and enforcing the laws are things that should be a red flag to voters out there, who for years have heard lip service from politicians and are understandably angry because those politicians haven't been committed to following through on those promises," Walker said.

3. Casey Anthony Prosecutor Jeff Ashton Admits Visiting Ashley Madison Site

Florida state attorney Jeff Ashton, known for his role as a prosecutor in the Casey Anthony trial, admitted today to "indulging a curiosity" by joining the Ashley Madison cheating website.

Ashton, who is married, apologized to his family and the public at a press conference this afternoon.

"Two years ago, I was curious about the Ashley Madison website and I used my personal credit card to sign up for the site," he said.

Ashton said his involvement with Ashley Madison, a website for married people seeking affairs, was limited to online.

4. National Zoo's Giant Panda, Mei Xiang, Gives Birth to 2 Cubs

A second panda cub was born from giant female panda Mei Xiang at Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C. Saturday night, just hours after the first one.

The National Zoo announced the birth of the second cub via Twitter. Earlier that day, the first panda cub was born at 5:35 p.m.

5. Little Leaguer Crushes Homer as Family Is Interviewed

A Little Leaguer couldn’t have timed his mammoth home run any better during the Little League World Series -- crushing one over the fence just as his family was being interviewed on live TV.

ESPN's Jaymee Sire was interviewing Terrence Gist’s mother and twin sister as Gist, who plays for South Carolina, was at the plate facing a pitcher from Rhode Island in the third inning Friday.

While his sister was talking about playing football with her brother, Gist smacked a home run past the light tower at the stadium.
