Kenyan forces rescued "most" of the hostages held by terrorists in an upscale mall in Nairobi, after launching a "major assault" to put an end to the two-day long siege mounted by attackers who threw grenades and opened fire on unsuspecting crowds at an upscale mall in Nairobi, Kenyan police said.

2. Colorado Hustles to Repair Flood Damaged Roads

Colorado officials are aiming finish temporary fixes to some roads damaged by flooding earlier this month by December 1.

3. Iran's President Urges Interaction at UN

Iranian President Hasan Rouhani made a plea to Western leaders on the last day of his trip to New York City for more dialogue among nations to ease economic sanctions and "reach joint interests."

4. Snake Grounds Plane With 370 Passengers

A Mandarin Rat Snake found on a Qantas Boeing 747 airliner grounded the Sydney-bound plane overnight, the airline said.
