1. Senate Nears Debt Limit Deal
The latest outline of a potential Senate deal to end the fiscal impasse and government shutdown calls for keeping the government funded until Jan. 15 and raising the debt limit through Feb. 15, congressional aides told ABC News.

2. Second Dry Ice Explosion Reported at LA Airport
Another dry ice explosion occurred Monday at Los Angeles International Airport, following a similar explosion at the same airport Sunday night. No were injuries were reported from either explosion.

3. Death Toll in Philippines Quake Rises
A 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck the central Philippines earlier today, killing at least 85 people.

4. Report: NSA Collecting Millions of Contact Lists
The National Security Agency has been sifting through the contact lists of millions of personal email accounts in an effort to find links to terrorism, according a Washington Post report.

5. Christina Milian Booted From 'Dancing'
Singer Christina Milian and her dance partner Mark Ballas were eliminated Monday night from "Dancing With the Stars."
