1. US Faces Off Against Belgium

The U.S. faces Belgium today in the World Cup, a match that has many American fans on edge, and others wondering what there is to know about the small European country.

Sure, Belgium is famous for many culinary delights, but it's not all about beer, chocolate and waffles.

2. Israel Strikes 34 'Terror Targets' in Gaza After Bodies of Israeli Teens Found

The Israeli Air Force carried out what it called "precision strikes" on 34 "terror targets" in the Gaza Strip overnight, and a Palestinian from the group Hamas was shot dead when he threw a grenade at forces carrying out an arrest raid, as tensions soared after the discovery of the bodies of three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped in the West Bank earlier in June.

The man killed Tuesday was the first casualty since the bodies were found.

The Israeli Defense Forces said the strikes were in response to rockets being launched earlier into Israel from Gaza.

3. Fired Nanny Sets Conditions for Moving Out in Email to Family's Lawyer

The fired California nanny who wouldn't leave is blaming the weather, the media and physical disabilities as the reasons she hasn't moved out of her former employers' home, but said she will be out by July 4 - under certain conditions, according to an email she sent to her employer's lawyer.

But Marcella Bracamonte, who fired Diane Stretton earlier this month, thinks Stretton's demands are a ploy.

“I don’t believe her. She is going to show up when I am not here with a bunch of food and water and she will barricade herself in her room,” Bracamonte said.

4. Bully for Us: How Teddy Goalsevelt Came to Cheer US Soccer at World Cup

Mike D’Amico assumes his alter-ego, Teddy Goalsevelt, at every U.S. national soccer team game, riling up fans far and wide with his super-fan version of the 26th president.

D’Amico, 31, from Chicago, dressed in a homemade Teddy Roosevelt costume, became a quick fan favorite after ESPN cut to him celebrating Jermaine Jones’ goal during the June 22 U.S. vs. Portugal match that ended in a tie.

“I’m just the lucky schmuck they cut to when he was losing his mind on ESPN,” D’Amico told ABC News.
