Around 7 this morning as students -- arriving -- -- lake high school they were being turned right back around after students set himself on fire saw at least five fire trucks pull up. Several. Cop cars and ambulances and just. And a scared -- police say the teen was in the cafeteria when it happened -- a group of other students around at the same time. One of them tells 7 NEWS in an email she was finishing -- homework when the boy set himself on fire then chased after them. Two cafeteria workers were able to get a fire extinguisher and extinguish the -- -- -- quickly. This student is at the hospital in serious condition the cafeteria worker suffered minor injuries to her hand. Meanwhile everyone is shocked it's concerning because we're seeing more and more of these incidents and you're never prepared. My heart breaks for for him for the students that saw it for his parents for everybody involved.
