A former volunteer firefighter and girlfriend are due in court today suspected in a series of arsons in Virginia. Police say Charles Smith the third and Tonya abundant -- to blame for nearly all of the 77 fires set on the Eastern -- since November. Today they're making their first appearance before a judge after allegedly torching an abandoned house Monday night. Police arrested him shortly afterward right now they're charged only with that fire but police say they expect to file more charges no one was hurt in any of the fires.
