Researchers from the Cleveland Clinic report that a number of the popular drugs for arthritis pain known as COX-2 inhibitors, including Celebrex and Vioxx, can significantly increase the risk of blood clots, heart attacks, and stroke. Read more.

Children Well Fed

Researchers in Norway report that children who are breastfed for less than three months score below average in tests of mental skills and intelligence. The researchers believe breastfeeding provides nutrients that affect cognitive development.
