You may have heard some exciting news from right here at home at ABC at the end of the summer I'm going to be moving to a new role at the network full time flat out. Of reporting I -- from around the world and in depth specials from the stories that matter so much to all our lives. I'm going to be telling more about this in the weeks ahead but I love every night I get to spend with you. And I am so happy that someone you know well is going to be at the Helm of world news starting September 2. David Muir is going to be anchor managing editor sitting right here this death. Take it tying you know what a humbling davis' for -- I've told you this before. That I think of the twelve year old boy who -- up an upstate New York had these dreams of being a reporter -- that maybe one day. One day I would see the world but as that boy with a huge imagination I could never have imagined seeing the world -- Diane Sawyer there have been so many stories. And -- captured and killed right there we were gather her thoughts in Joplin -- political conventions. So many moments we've shared but I have to tell you. That one of my favorite moments is when you turned to me here on this desk and you say the captain number made -- -- team is here I just want to tell you. -- for everyone in the studio ever went up for the people remember when down in the newsroom. They know that you -- the captain here they know that you have let us you have reminded us every night it's about the viewers at home which is really wanted viewers now. Lead us on our journey with -- in America they tell us what stories we should do next and you and I really have so much planned already. And of course we're going to be joined by GMA co anchor George Stephanopoulos -- look -- -- responsibilities as chief anchor for ABC news and special events. As David says over the summer we have big plans and factor filling in for me in my night right no -- -- -- and I will be watching.
