With projections made in most states across the country, ABC has projected that former President Donald Trump will win the high-stakes presidential match-up against Vice President Kamala Harris. Early Wednesday morning, Trump secured enough Electoral College votes to set himself up for a second presidency, including by flipping the key swing states of Georgia, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Plus, Republicans are set up to take back the Senate majority, with at least 51 seats locked down — while control of the House remained up in the air.

Throughout the evening and into Wednesday morning, reporters from 538 followed along every step of the way with live updates, analysis and commentary on these races and all the others down the ballot. Follow our live election-night coverage in full below.

Three more House projections

ABC News has made three more projections in the battle for the House.

-In Ohio's 13th District, Democratic Rep. Emilia Sykes has won reelection. We had this district rated Likely Democratic, but it's currently just a 2-point race.

-Republican Tom Barrett has won Michigan's 7th District. That's big for Republicans because this is currently a Democratic-held seat.

-Republican Rep. Mike Lawler has won reelection in New York's 17th District. Biden won this district handily in 2020, but Lawler proved a strong incumbent.

A GOP hold and a tight race in Iowa’s competitive House seats

ABC News has projected that Rep. Zach Nunn will hold onto his seat in Iowa’s 3rd District, fending off Democratic challenger Lanon Baccam. Baccam had a lead earlier this evening, but will fall short by around 4 points.

Meanwhile, Mary wrote earlier about the tight race in the 1st District between Republican Rep. Miller-Meeks and challenger Christina Bohannan, who had a small lead earlier in the evening. The last few counties may be enough to put Miller-Meeks over the edge. She’s leading by fewer than 500 votes with 98% of the vote reporting…. Though that'd still be a bigger lead than her 6-vote win back in 2020.

Trump also hinted at a health-related role for Kennedy in his administration: "He's going to make America healthy again." Kennedy is known for his skepticism of vaccines.
