Aug 22, 2013— -- Being a journalist means constantly getting press releases and media alerts. Sure it's a perk to be able to see new movie posters, and hear new albums before anyone else. But often, you get pitched strange stories that don’t make any sense at all.

We usually share the latter between coworkers, but we’ve decided to share them with y'all. We can’t be the only ones laughing, right?

Today in our inbox: Toni Braxton and Babyface are releasing a duets album just in time for Christmas. What is this, 1993?

The email subject: Toni Braxton and Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds duets album, Love, Marriage & Divorce set for December 3rd release on Motown Records!

Our reaction: Love, marriage... and divorce? That doesn't sound like anything I want to listen to right before Christmas. Maybe if they had thrown "happiness" or “sex” in the title somewhere I’d be more inclined to purchase the album. I can already tell this album won’t join my holiday playlist this season.
