Matthew McConaughey was born and raised in Texas, but he reportedly settled down in a <a href="http://www.zillow.com/blog/matthew-mcconaughey-settles-down-in-austin-73515/">nine-acre estate</a> outside Austin, Texas. This seven-bedroom home was first listed at $6.6 million around 2008, was on and off the market, then dropped to $4 million in Nov. 2010.
This home was taken off the market in Jan. 2012, when McConaughey reportedly snatched the three-story property.
