— -- Cost cutting and layoffs mean millions of Americans lucky enough to have their jobs are in the unlucky position of being overworked. Walking the line between wanting to keep their jobs and getting some much-needed rest, some employees are calling in sick -- when they really just need a breather.

But when it comes to lying, some people are better than others. Have you ever come up with a ridiculous story just to skip a day of work? Ever been caught lying? Are you an employer who has heard some outlandish whoppers or caught an employee?

If you've recently come down with the symptoms of 24-hour swine flu, an acute case of cantworktodayitis, or attended your great-grandfather's funeral four times in the past three months, ABC News wants to hear from you.

Please share your story by filling out the form below. Part of your response may be used in a future ABC News story, or an ABC News producer may contact you for more information.
